Next time you feel like the winter weather has got you cooped up inside take a trip out to Jamaica Plain and enjoy the Arnold Arboretum. With over 265 arcs, the Arboretum is a great place for winter activities and a nice alternative to traveling outside the city to enjoy the countryside.
The Arnold Arboretum is located in Jamaica Plain and Roslindale sections of Boston. The main entrance to the gate is located on Route. 203 From the city public transportation to the Arboretum is available on the MBTA Orange Line to it’s the Forest Hills Station and by bus (bus number 39) to the Monument in Jamaica Plain.
After a snow storm the Arboretum is a great place for a snow show, cross-country ski, dog walk or maybe if even some family sledding.
