Love is in the air. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and since we are feeling the love over here at CondoDomain we decided to make our first ever, official Top Ten List of the Boston Condos We Love. Sure, there are hundreds of Boston condos to choose from, but with all of these options to choose from, only the best of the best stand out from the rest. (Disclaimer: these are listed in no particular order considering we LOVE them all!)

Here are our picks for the Top Ten Boston Condos We Love.

10. J’Adore  Mandarin Oriental Residences
Recently opening in the Back Bay this past fall, Mandarin Oriental Residences have brought a new level of sophistication and luxury to the Boston condo market. With stores like Gucci & Frette and restaurants such as L’Espalier & Sel de la Terre full service luxury living has never offered better amenities in Boston. If you loooove luxury you will looove the Mandarin Oriental Residences, we sure do.

9. The Macallen is sooo Sweet
Making “green living” look ever so chic, The Macallen is hands down one of the most unique Boston condo buildings out there. Now an incredible icon in the South Boston skyline, The Macallen stands as an example that environmentally friendly building materials can create something gorgeous. Not only do we love The Macallen for their “green” approach, but this great condo building also was one of the first luxury buildings in South Boston making way for many more to come.

8. Yummy Battery Wharf
You can just taste the sweet sweet elegance of Battery Wharf the moment you set your eyes on Boston’s new waterfront luxury condo development. Battery Wharf offers its condo residents gorgeous waterfront views and full service condo-hotel style living. Within walking distance to Boston’s fabulous North End restaurants and a deeded boat slip to each condominium unit owner, Battery Wharf truly sets the standard for Boston condo developments. The recently opened restaurant Sensing and its chef Guy Martin offer an even tastier addition.

7.  Cupid’s Dream at FP3
Bringing new life to the emerging Fort Point Channel located on South Boston’s waterfront, we’ve got nothing but love for FP3. While we are still waiting for the completion of the trio of restaurants brought to you by the wonderful Barbara Lynch (Sportello and Drink are open!) FP3 condo units are ready for move in and offer unique luxury living with amazing views of downtown Boston. We love this development so much we are heading over there this week for a video tour…Stay Tuned lovers.

6. Passionate for Penny Savings Bank
Quite possibly one of our personal favorites, I’m sure the majority of you can agree with me that condos in the Penny Savings Bank in Boston’s South End are one of the most you can find around. This completely restored white-marble and glass-walled building that was once a bank and then owned by the Archdiocese of Boston was turned into 23 condos recently and we couldn’t have been more thrilled. Residents of condominium units in the Penny Savings Bank definitely have a condo they can be passionate about.

5. Delicious DNA Lofts
It’s rare to find a new condo development in Boston with so many choices. DNA Lofts not only have some of the most unique loft units available interested buyers are also offered the choice to completely customize their unit from even the tiniest of details. DNA Lofts allow their residents to put their own fingerprint on their new loft. We love the freedom in that.

4. The 1850…how we love thee
Truly awesome loft living. That is what you find at The 1850. We just can’t get enough of these fabulous units. Who would have thought that an old piano factory would one day turn into 60 incredible loft units featuring exposed brick, wood beam ceilings, a variety of flexible floor plans, and polished concrete flooring. We’ve been over to The 1850 several times with our clients and definitely plan to be back quite often.

3.  Smell the Roses at 285 Columbus
Another recently converted loft style building, 285 Columbus stands at the crossroads between Boston’s South End and Back Bay. Offering its residents the best of both worlds, condo units at 285 Columbus feature high ceilings, gorgeous interior finishes, and amazing views of Boston. We love 285 Columbus for many reasons and the close proximity to the shopping at Copley and Newbury Street is just one of them. Can’t you smell the shopping?

2. Kisses for The Clarendon
One of the most exciting additions to the Boston skyline, The Clarendon is one of our absolute favorites for many reasons. Although not completed yet, The Clarendon is expected to not only be a “green” condo building with anticipated LEED silver certification, but also offer unprecedented amenities such as Equinox concierge services, on premises gourmet grocery store, and the exclusive Clarendon Clubroom. Ooooh we like. No we loooove.

1.  45 Province will you be my Valentine?
Maybe it’s the panoramic views of the gorgeous Boston skyline, maybe it’s the amazing architecture that reminds us of a Park Avenue Building in New York City, maybe it’s all of the world-class amenities and the Four Seasons pool, or maybe it’s everything 45 Province has to offer. Whatever it is, we just can’t get enough. When it comes to Boston condo love, we are head over heels for 45 Province.
