Alright, I may be partial as a fabulous furry puppy owner myself, but I must admit I have been very excited to see a lot of events around Boston that are dog-friendly…and fun!
The Liberty Hotel, located in Beacon Hill hosts two pet-friendly Boston events that are an absolute blast. The Alibi Dog Days of Summer Event is hosted every month on Alibi’s patio featuring Bombay Saphire cocktails, doggie drinks (non-alcoholic of course), and pick the Puppy of the Month to receive prizes & an Alibi mugshot. As a matter of fact, my little Wrigley Joy won the very first Puppy of the Month…I’m not bragging or anything.
Also happening at The Liberty Hotel in Beacon Hill every Wednesday night from 5-7pm, Clink hosts Yappy Hour featuring their cocktail & snack menu in The Liberty Hotel’s “own backyard”. Here Boston doggies can mix, mingle, and yap away with other fellow furry friends. Sounds like some serious socializing time for both man and his best friend Fido. Throw some alcohol in the mix and it sound like you’ve got a pretty awesome time.
Moving along to Boston’s South End, The Beehive hosts yet another animalistic event….K-9 + Cocktails is taking place August 15 from 3-5pm. The Beehive in the South End is putting on an event for Boston dogs to celebrate a summer afternoon filled with cocktails & Boston doggie socializing. Cool thing about this event…100% of the proceeds from the doggie cocktail sails goes to the Animal Rescue League of Boston. Such a great idea!
So if you’re sick of hitting up the usual dog parks in the area and are looking for some fun for you and your pooch, check out these Boston dog-friendly events.
