Another South End condo auction is all the buzz in the Boston condo market. We just witnessed The 1850 Lofts (Another South End condo development) hit the auction block this past summer, just two weeks ago we heard about the Nouvelle at Natick auction…so what gives with the auctions?
While it is yet to be officially announced right now & the Bryant Condo Auction is all mere speculation from an article yesterday morning in the Boston Herald, the buzz can’t seem to stop surrounding the Boston condo market these days and the recent trend shifting to Boston condo auctions as a tool for developers to quickly sell of their inventory. Many people have mixed emotions toward Boston condo auctions – many view them as a wonderful opportunity to get a great deal in our Boston condo market, while others don’t see it as a deal considering many (if not all) of the units end up selling for much higher than their minimum bid was set at.
So what if the Bryant Back Bay were to go to auction? This luxury Back Bay condo development located at the meeting point of Boston’s Back Bay & South End and consists of 9 stories with 50 units. Here at CondoDomain, we have toured the Bryant Back Bay several times with our team & with our clients and truly believe that the Bryant Back Bay is a perfect option for many families & empty-nesters. Their direct access elevators take you directly into your new Back Bay condo with beautiful hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, and spectacular views of the tree-lined street just outside the windows.
Although the Bryant Back Bay has only 50 units, the Boston Herald reports that it has only sold 5 total units. Maybe a Bryant condo auction isn’t such a bad idea? But that isn’t up to me, or the Herald, or anyone else who is speculating right now. The decision is up to the development team at the Bryant Back Bay and they will be the ones who will decide that the Bryant condo auction will actually take place. However, if there’s speculation…we can’t help but want to keep in-the-know on this pending Back Bay / South End condo auction.
Stay tuned for more updateds on the Bryant Back Bay & the rumored Bryant condo auction…we will be sure to post everything as we hear it. Feel free to contact us today for more information on the Bryant Back Bay or any other Boston condo questions you may have – 617.314.7704
