2009 was a rough year for The Cape, a year with too many foreclosures as is; now, in January of 2010, the number of filed foreclosure deeds went up 50% according to The Warren Group, a Boston-based firm that tracks real estate trends.

Boston’s own Joey Kramer, drummer of Aerosmith, finally sold his house in Marshfield Hills, a coastal town south of Boston, after being on the market for 19 months. The 6,200 square foot house sat on 17 acres of land and included 4 bedrooms, a recording studio, a guest house, a pool, and three stand-alone garages.
