DOWNTOWN CROSSING HOLIDAY MARKET

Just before Thanksgiving Mayor Thomas Menino announced the first annual Holiday Market in Downtown Crossing. The outdoor market debuted on November 28th and the festivities will continue through Christmas Eve!

The Downtown Crossing Holiday Market will be located in an enclosed tent on Summer Street and will feature goods from local artists and food vendors who are interested in sharing, among other things, their handcrafted jewelry, pottery, clothing and house wares. Holiday Market will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM and 12 PM to 6 PM on Sundays.

There will also be live performances everyday on the Macy’s Performance Stage, also located on Summer Street. Performers include local school and theater groups, musicians, dancers and singers. Over 55 artists are signed up to participate!

It is wonderful to see the city getting into the holiday spirit…and spending some money on a neglected part of the city. Downtown Crossing has had a stale reputation for years but with the new luxury development, 45 Province, we hope to see condo buyers returning to downtown Boston. Let’s face it – it is one of the most convenient places to live in Boston. You can literally walk to any neighborhood (Beacon Hill, Back Bay, South End, North End etc.)!!

A new condo in Downtown Boston just hit the market! Check out 80 Summer Street

Also Highrise Condo Develompent in/near Downtown Crossing include:
Ritz Carlton Towers (1 Avery, 2 Avery & 3 Avery)
45 Province
The Grandview
The W Boston Hotel and Condominiums
