Fashion For A Good Cause

Attention Fellow Fashionistas (And Everyone Else!)

Have plans for Thursday night? If not, check this out:

There is a fashion show this Thursday night, November 13 showcasing local Boston designers and Models. Come view some of this season’s hottest styles brought to you by local boutiques, sip fabulous cocktails, and check out some of the awesome gifts up for raffle.

Brought to you by the Boston On Your Feet Project, this event will benefit Christopher’s Haven, which helps kids with brain cancer getting treatment at MGH.

The event will be located at Parris Lounge in Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market Building on the second floor. Doors open at 8pm and the runway extravaganza starts at 9pm.

Among those participating in the beauty festivities are James Joseph Studio, The Velvet Fly (one of my personal favorites), RickWalkers, Oak, and Bless by Bless Couture. Hint: Be one of the first 100 guests and you can get a gift bag hehe! Jewelry, beauty items, gift certificates to Boston restaurants, fitness centers, salons, etc will be among the many items up for grabs on the silent raffle.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. All proceeds go directly to Christopher’s Haven.
Christopher’s Haven provides a home away from home for children being treated for cancer at the Mass General Hospital (MGH) for Children. Patients and their families come to MGH from all over the country and often require a six to eight week outpatient stay for specialized proton beam radiation therapy five days a week.

Christopher’s Haven leases five apartments for children receiving treatment and their families at Charles River Park, adjacent to the hospital. The organization is working to fund the acquisition of the remaining three apartments on the floor for a total of seven residential suites, a community room and a volunteer space.
