Food, Fun, And Fall

Fall is all about change, so what better time for some alterations to the Boston restaurant scene? There’s nothing like a new restaurant or new favorite cocktail to help cure those summertime blues.

Here’s a brief rundown on some of the latest and the greatest to hit Boston !

Thirsty? Grab a Drink! Drink, the brand-new uber cool lounge has opened up in the FP3 as part of Barbara Lynch’s highly anticipated trio of restaurant concepts in this new luxury loft building in Boston’s Fort Point Channel. We were lucky enough to take a tour last week and speak with some of the Drink staff. Apparently, seat 1917 is the best because you can see your friends walk in and there is plenty of room to have a group around you while you sip on their intoxicating concoctions. As you can imagine, we get very excited when something new opens in our ‘hood!

And yes dear, I know. I too am quite tired of hearing about the Mandarin opening this week. We get that its opened already and the Mandarin Residences were all sold even at the large price tag of $14 mil. Well, even if you aren’t one of those lucky ones to be able to afford such a posh pad, don’t hesitate to head over there when you have some free time and check out some of the restaurants. L’Espalier, Sel de le Terre, and now Asana has joined the mix. Asana offers American and Asian cuisine and something tells me it will be quite delish…

And if you’re hungry for more…here’s some more dish dirt.

Minibar is set to open in the Back Bay around October 20th. Minibar will be located at the corner of Exeter and Huntington in the Copley Square Hotel, above Saint.

House of Siam is going to be opening a second location in the South End some time later this month. The second House of Siam will be located on Tremont Street and will undoubtedly has the same great flava flav.

And finally, bringing it back to our ‘hood yet again. City Bar is opening in the Westin at the Seaport District location this month. Can we say Drinktober!?
