Boston’s own Joey Kramer, drummer of Aerosmith, finally sold his house in Marshfield Hills, a coastal town south of Boston, after being on the market for 19 months. The 6,200 square foot house sat on 17 acres of land and included 4 bedrooms, a recording studio, a guest house, a pool, and three stand-alone garages. Kramer took a loss on the property however, originally asking $5 million in 2008 and settling for $2.7 million yesterday.
Governor Deval Patrick announced yesterday that he is allotting $5.1 million in Federal funding to boost preexisting neighborhood stabilization programs after exponential increases in foreclosures since 2007. The neighborhoods getting the boost are Framingham, Leominster, Lynn, Marlboro and Worcester, and with it they hope to acquire foreclosed homes and get them back on the market to be sold or rented.

So what got him fired? A passing comment about “two Jewish ladies” that was mistaken for a racial slur while his apartment was being shown to potential buyers…
