Text from a good friend Sunday evening: “Atlanta Beer Garden is raging!!”
My reaction: “What is Atlantic Beer Garden!?”
I must admit. I was pretty upset. I like to think I always know what is going on in this city!! Ok, I dropped the bar. I didn’t stay current with the opening of the all new Atlantic Beer Garden in the Seaport. I should have known! Especially since I am in the area almost every day!
Apparently this is the hot spot to watch sporting events in the area. How could it not be with 25 flatscreens, 3 projection tvs, and a back deck offering fabulous views of the water.
Brought to you by the guys behind Playwright/MKT/Sanctuary, Atlantic Beer Garden is one of the latest additions to hit the Seaport and is right next to the Seaport Bar & Grille (they have karaoke!). With your standard assortment of yummy yet greasy bar food on the menu and a wide array of beer on tap, it is the perfect place to enjoy sporting events or just chill out.
While I’m on the subject of the latest news in the Seaport and South Boston areas, here are a few more developments to come! This neighborhood is truly undergoing massive transformation and progress, we love staying up to date on all of these new developments!

Completion expected around 2011, The Waterside Place project bounded by D Street on the east and World Trade Center Avenue on the west in the Seaport District will consist of four major components. In the new construction Waterside Place project, there will be 200 residential condos, a 300 room hotel, and over 640,000 square feet of retail, including a grocery store and major department store.
