Summer’s Bounty: Fresh Vegetables, Fruits, Flowers, and More

One of the things I miss most about “suburban” living is the abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables from my mom’s garden.

Don’t fear city dwellers, you too can enjoy garden fresh produce at your local farmer’s market! Nearly every neighborhood in the city hosts a farmer’s market weekly.

My personal favorite is at Copley Square every Tuesday and Friday from 11am to 6pm through November. In addition to the freshest garden tomatoes, lettuces, and other produce the market features homemade cheeses, artisan breads, fresh cut wildflowers, and much more. Just another way to enjoy summer in the city!
